1)  Explain what new changes you can see in Gothic cathedrals if you compare them with Romanesque cathedrals.

2)  Draw basic cathedral designs.

3)  Make a list of skills needed to be an engineer and to be able to build acathedral.

4)  Look for the new vocabulary that you use to describe gothic art in http://medievalwriting.50megs.com/churchglossary/glossaryn.htm and translateit into Spanish.

5)  Describe which new topics and themes were introduced in Gothic paintings.

6)  Explain the main differences between Romanesque and Gothic sculptures.

8)  Find three famous Gothic painters and sculptors and describe their main works.

9)  Visit http://www.historyforkids.org/learn/medieval/architecture/gothic.htm andcompare these cathedrals: Chartres, Florence, Reims and Westminster Abbey.

10)  Choose a Gothic cathedral and make a mural where you show all the Gothic elements that there are inside. You have an example in http://www.stjames-cathedral.org/Tour/default.aspx
